The Old Absinthe House has a deep history in the city. “Absinthe” is actually a green liquor with high alcohol content. This historic bar is also known to have had some of the city’s most iconic celebrities come through its doors, including Jean Pierre LaFitte, Andrew Jackson, and Mark Twain to just name a few. Ohh, if walls could talk to hear the stories of what has happened inside of this historic location…..
